Cubao is where you can find the biggest bus terminal in Metro Manila, specifically in the Araneta City (formerly Araneta Center), where hundreds of trips per day serve thousands of passengers going to different parts of the Philippines.

Araneta City Bus Port now accepts online booking and PayMaya as payment option

I myself have traveled to most tourist destinations in Luzon by bus which mostly originates from the Araneta Center Bus Terminal. I remember how inconvenient it was to book for bus tickets in the past – tickets can only be purchased at the counters because most, if not all, bus companies do not have online booking facility and some do not accept advance reservation. During peak season, looking for a bus ride was always crazy.

When the Araneta City Bus Port finally opened in 2017 and launched its online booking system, it was good news for travelers like me! Along with modern facility, passengers can now purchase for bus tickets in advance through their website. And with partnership with PayMaya, booking and paying for bus tickets online has never been this simple and convenient.

One of the payment options when booking for tickets with Araneta City Bus Port online is using your debit or credit card. However, if you don’t have one, or you don’t want to memorize your credit or debit card numbers, don’t worry – you can conveniently pay for your tickets using your mobile number. To shop and pay online using this service, just look for the “Pay with PayMaya” button on the merchant’s website.

Let me guide you with these easy steps on how to buy bus tickets through the Araneta Center Bus Port website and the Araneta City mobile app and pay it with PayMaya using your 11-digit mobile number.

[If you don’t have a PayMaya account yet, download the app for FREE. Click here for Android users and click here for iOS users. Don’t forget to enter my invite code (GABZPAYMAYA) when you sign up and upgrade your account to receive your P50 gift.]

2. Open the mobile app. Register for an account or continue as guest.

That’s it! By using your mobile number with PayMaya, there is no need for you to go into the tedious process of keying in your card details when you shop and pay online. You can do this at the comfort of your home and you avoid using and exposing your debit or credit card details online. How instant, convenient and safe!

On top of this convenience, you can also enjoy 1%, 10%, or 100% cashback when you use this convenient option until January 15, 2020! Now, why pay cash, when you can get so much more rewards by paying via PayMaya?

This is one PayMaya travel hack that I’m glad to share with you. Aside from Araneta City Bus Port, the “Pay with PayMaya” service is also accepted by other merchants including Bo’s Coffee, Eatigo, Rustans, Landers, Rose Pharmacy and many more. In fact, I also use this feature to pay for my travel tax before traveling through the TIEZA website. Klook will soon be offering this service to make booking for travel tours and activities safe and hassle-free.
